Vampire Be Gone – Garlic Infused Soap

Does the scourge of the unholy undead have you living in terror? Have no fear, Vamp-B-Gone is here. This garlic infused soap is certain to ensure those undead blood suckers leave you and yours alone. 100% effective, no Vamp-B-Gone users have ever reported being attacked by one of the unholy undead while using our all natural garlic infused soap. For the ultimate in protection, use Vamp-B-Gone in combination with our Killer Tomato Repellant (Tomato and Basil infused), and our Pod Person Masquerade Herbal Masque (oregano, marjoram, thyme, and rosemary infused). Each is gentle and safe to use daily or whenever you want to smell like a lasagna. A Halloween inspired parody/spoof cold process soap. *I couldn’t resist the last two references to old b-movies, but now I am thinking I have to try to make those. Maybe for next year.

I had this picture in my mind of a soap with a mica lined silver cross through it. Unfortunately my test version left the cross looking like it was taking an acid trip. So, I retooled and approached it from the pure and natural approach using only the natural garlic infused soap color and a little titanium dioxide. To create the garlic infused oil, I added one clove crushed garlic and 1 tablespoon garlic powder to a batch of oils (approximately the size of my anticipated batch). The oil was left to infuse for 2 days at which time the oils/garlic were strained through a fine sieve. The crushed garlic and some of the garlic powder were removed (some garlic powder remained in the base oils). Oils were then measured as normal and the batch prepared accordingly. The scent is a true garlic, but not an offensive or revolting garlic. It reminds you more of a garlic bread and leaves you craving Italian food. Great as a gag gift or even for general use.

Oil Blend:

2017 Test 5 Masterbatch (it doesn’t mean much to anyone but me, it tells me it was 2017 test blend #5). This blend uses: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernal Oil/flakes , Olive Oil Pomace, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Canola Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Argan Oil, and Stearic Acid [Thankfully I have used all of this test blend – the skin feel and lather are amazing, but it sets up too fast. You can’t do too much with it; it is a bit deceptive it will be very loose and then almost instantly set-up. It doesn’t matter if it is soaped cold or hot it just decides it’s done and your stuck with it. Lol ]
