Rainbow Tiger Stripe Cold Process Soap – gone awry
As you can tell, I’m not afraid to embrace my failures. Often we learn more from them than our successes. This especially true in cold process soaps where even our failed attempts can have a beautiful outcome. This Rainbow tiger stripe cold process soap is one such example.
How or why did it go wrong. Well first, I didn’t mix enough of the white and too much of the colored soap. Next, I did not have real dividers so I cut a piece of cardboard that I tried to hold in place as I poured; I didn’t realize it slide almost to the side. lol Then in my effort to salvage it, I decided to shift to a color swirled top; the combined effect just didn’t turn out as a pretty picture. Even with all the errors, it still turned out to make for a unique and beautiful soap.
The scent is a lively citrusy scent that soaped incredibly well, the scent ‘Celebration Type’ from Nurture Soaps.
The colors used are all from Nurture Soaps. I didn’t write them all down, sorry. The red is Really Red and the other colors are all from the Vibrance series ( I believe).
The base oils are a mixture of Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Canola Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Castor Oil, Ricebran Oil, and Jojoba oil.
